Oh Dystopia! Poetry Synesthesia

Paint a picture with words,

Decoupage tones on velvet tongues,

Textures of how letters taste,

The color of how sounds are shaped.

Audible imagery among the prose,

Developed lens for the eye of the mind,

Guidance along the path the ink makes,

Following the words down roads of paper.

Constrict the iris on that soft sound passing,

Bridging the aether between reader and written,

Cascading storm fronts inked in blue and black,

Passing from one soul to another.

To create the taste of the word energy,

The sound of the color green,

Sketching the sensations of philosophy,

Creating perfect reactions of imaginings.

The actualization of the picture painted at the tip of a pen.
